Gary Gault envisioned a bar where people from all walks of life could gather to share some drinks and laughs with family and friends while feeling like they were right at home, in their own family room. With a heart of gold and a head full of determination, he opened The Salty Goat Saloon in Summer of 2012 and he brought his vision to life. He spent the next 5 years making the Salty Goat Panama City Beach's go to spot for locals, bikers, and military personnel. Unfortunately, we live in an unfair and sometimes cruel world. Gary was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in November of 2017 and even though he fought hard, he was taken to be with the Lord on December 21, 2017. Gary will forever be the face of The Salty Goat Saloon and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
